Where We Are

Arc-en-Provence is set on 2 acres just outside Lorgues, a small attractive town

in the heart of Provence. If you are not sure where Provence is, it is in the

south-east corner of France near the Italian border and the Mediterranean (see map).

Lorgues is a small attractive provençale town in the heart of the Var; near

enough to the sea ( 40 mins) for a swim in the blue Mediterranean, yet set in

the heart of the peaceful countryside of the Var with its oaks and pines …….

Who We Are

We moved to Provence in 2003 with our "family" of Golden Retrievers, from Cork in Ireland where we lived for over thirty years. Shirley worked as a Care Nurse with the elderly and Peter had a small Nursery and Landscape business. Peter is also the Anglican Minister for the local Church helping out down here in the local community.

 

What We Are!

Arc-en-Provence is the fulfilment of a dream to provide a place for rest and renewal in Provence, Our hope is that this will be a place where time and space is available to take a break and "charge the batteries" and where opportunities for fellowship and quiet meditation are available. We are members of the   Quiet Garden Trust.

 

The Villa

The self-contained apartments and studio offered are all at ground level within the villa. There is a swimming pool to cool down in, a natural garden to explore, with the "essential" boules pitch tucked under the shade of the trees. Nearby, there are many miles of pretty woodland lanes and paths to explore on foot or by bike.  If any of that sounds "tempting" please contact us for further information.
